Myrna Shiboleth from Israel is a respected FCI and International judge who is widely recognized as the world's foremost authority on Canaan Dogs. She has studied Canaan Dogs under Dr. Rudolphina Menzel (the founder of the modern breed) and at her retirement acquired her breeding stock. Since then she has been the main breeder of Canaan Dogs in Israel and in the world. She is also a breeder of Collies and Shiba Inus, which she introduced to Israel. She is the author of several books and articles including THE BOOK on the breed "The Israel Canaan Dog", 2nd ed., Alpine, 1996.
